Paritosh Sand

Biography

Paritosh Sand is an Indian theatre, film and television actor born in Allahabad on 15th January. He has completed his schooling from St. Anthony Convent School and graduated from Government Inter College both of which are in Allahabad. After this he started doing a lot of amateur theatre in the city as a part of the Allahabad Artists’ Association and worked with theatre groups like Roopkatha and Samanantar. Following this he decided to learn theatre professionally and therefore joined the National School of Drama (NSD), Delhi in 1987. He graduated in 1990 and learned from many respected teachers during his course there. His first film was titled “Prahaar” with Nana Patekar and since then he has been working continuously in theatre, films and television. He has a wife named Sapna who’s also an NSD graduate and a daughter.
