Veronica Falcón

Biography

Veronica Falcon was born in Mexico City, August 8th 1966. She is considered one of Mexico’s most respected, versatile & talented actors as well as an exceptional choreographer. For several years, she was the artistic director of her own theater company. Miss Falcon has performed on stage, television & film for almost three decades. In 2014, she was nominated for a “Silver Goddess Award” (Mexico’s equivalent to a Golden Globe) as Best Supporting actress for her portrayal of “La Diabla” in Academy Award Nominee Carlos Cuaron’s film “Sugar Kisses”. She’s been nominated twice (2017 & 2018) for the “Imagen Award” as Best Supporting Actress in television. In 2019, she was honored with the “Impact Award” by the National Hispanic Media Coalition as Best Actress in television. In 2015 she moved to the US and within months upon her arrival, she landed the role of “Camila Vargas”, one of the leads of the USA network hit television series “Queen of the South”. Miss Falcon, played Rosa in the critically acclaimed “Room 104” created by the Duplass Brothers & produced by HBO. Disney’s “Jungle Cruise” will premiere on June 2020 and in this film Veronica shares credits with: Dwayne Johnson, Emily Blunt, Paul Giamatti, Jesse Plemons, Edgar Ramirez & Jack Whitehall. Miss Falcon plays “Clara Fernandez” in Bruce Terris & Steven Conrad’s “Perpetual Grace Ltd” the critically acclaimed series is produced by MGM for Epix. The series has a stellar cast: Sir Ben Kingsley, Jackie Weaver, Jimmi Simpson, Chris Conrad, Luis Guzman and many more. Veronica is also part of the cast of HBO’s “Perry Mason” directed by Tim Van Patten with Matthew Rhys & John Lithgow the series will start shooting Summer 2019. Miss Falcon will be working with Neil Burger in his film “Voyagers”. Miss Falcon has also choreographed several productions for Mexico’s National Opera Company as well as countless shows & stage productions. She has written two plays and several essays, short stories and in 2018 Veronica wrote her first novel: “Autoscopy” during the NaNowriMo 2018 Challenge. She is fluent in four languages & holds a Teacher’s Degree in English awarded to her, at age fifteen. She lives in Los Angeles, California.
